Trident Pool Gate Latch May Not Be Safe

Nationwide Industries has recalled their Trident Pool Gate Latches because a magnet in it can come loose. The loose magnet means the gate latch doesn’t secure the gate properly possibly leaving your family at risk.

The gate latches that were recalled are 10″ or 20″ in black or white. They are marked with the name “Trident”  and an image of it on the face of the latch body below the keyhole. The latch body is typically placed on the fence post and is designed to catch the magnet in the striker, which is normally attached to the swinging part. If the magnet is loose, the gate latch may not close securely.

Consumers who have this gate latch should contact Nationwide Industries for a replacement. They can be reached at (800) 409-3901 from 8 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
