Safer 3 Water Safety Foundation

Safer³ is an organization dedicated to saving lives through water safety education. Their vision is to someday have a world without drowning.

Formerly, Safer³ was known as the Swim for Life Foundation. The name change became effective on October 11, 2012.

Although the name was changed, the logo will continue to be the same.

Safer³’s goals are to:

  • Raise awareness of drowning risks
  • Educate the public about the three elements common to every drowning: Water, People, Response.
  • Develop and provide resources to reduce the risk.
  • Create a global network of partners and Safer 3 messengers.

It is a year-round educational campaign working to eliminate drowning all over the world. To achieve this, they follow the Safer 3:

  1. Recognizing risks associated with water related activities
  2. Implementing strategies to reduce and manage those risks
  3. Responsibly maintaining those strategies
