Infant Swimming Resource

The Infant Swimming Resource foundation was founded in 1966 by D. Harvey Barnett. It is now a pioneer when it comes to providing survival lessons for infants and young children.

Their mission, “Not One More Child Drowns,” motivates their highly trained¬†Infant Swimming Resource instructor to provide the safest and most effective swimming lessons available.

The foundation believes that pool fences, supervision, and pool alarms are important when it comes to drowning prevention. But when all else fails, they believe it is essential that a child know how to swim as a line of last defense.

ISR has over 260,000 graduates and 800 documented survival stories. Showing that when it comes down to it, a child can save him or herself.

Whenever I have children I am definitely enrolling them in swimming lessons once they turn 6 months old.
